A natural response to change would be CONFUSION - FEAR - RESISTANCE. For example, if someone's typical work routine is changed due to new rules at work, they could feel frustrated because they have to learn a new way of doing something. It might make them feel like they don't know how to do their job properly, even if they've been doing it for quite some time. Eventually, people adapt to a new way of doing things (acceptance) and it doesn't frustrate them anymore.
