Which step of the scientific method includes a prediction?

ask a question.
construct a hypothesis.
do background research.
test with an experiment.

While constructing your hypothesis, you should have come up with a prediction to go along with that. 

example:
prediction- I believe that the ball will roll if I kick it
hypothesis- If I kick the ball, then it will roll.
