Human activities can have an impact on natural disasters:

Irresponsible mining led to the permanent landscape modifications. because of the drilling of the salt mine beneath the lake. More than that, mining increases the occurrence of earthquakes

Building dams can cause earthquakes because of the huge water mass that applies pressure on the surface beneath.

Fracking for oil and natural gas Wastewater used in the process causes earthquakes as it cracks rocks and lubricates faults.

Deforestation People destroy vegetation that protects the topsoil and absorbs excess rainwater with its roots. As a result, high water freely spreads in the region causes floods .

Agriculture similar to deforestation, destroys the topsoil so it has to possibility to absorb rainwater, causes floods.

Urban development:  all the surfaces in the town or city are covered with cement or asphalt. Naturally, these materials do not absorb rainwater so it may cause floods.

Destruction of the natural wetlands.  destroy natural obstacles for water collection areas. As a result, excess water finds new ways and they all trend near or through human settlements causes floods.

Hydroelectric power is impossible without dam building. Apart from the dangers of earthquakes, dams can cause floods. The whole process of obtaining electric power through the water power plant requires a huge reservoir of water which flow is accurately regulated. Any miscalculate may lead to the catastrophe.

And many activities that increases carbon dioxide and  other warm gases lead to global warming which causes many disaster.
