Allosteric enzymes HAVE REGIONS THAT BIND WITH INHIBITOR OR ACTIVATOR MOLECULE. Allosteric enzymes have two binding site: the active site and the allosteric site, where effectors molecules are bind. Allosteric enzymes are regulatory enzymes which change their conformations depending on the type of molecule that is bind to their allosteric sites. There are two types of effector molecules that can bind to the allosteric site: they are inhibitors and activators. Inhibitors bind to the allosteric site of the enzyme in order to prevent the enzyme from functioning while activators modified the enzyme to function.
