The ecosystem of the forest is formed by the interaction between the abiotic and biotic factors. Abiotic factors are the non-living factors: water, temperature,light,cloud cover, and soil. Biotic factors oh the other hand are the living organisms. Tropical rain forests are hot, moist forests found near Earth's equator.
Temperate rain forests are cool and dry.
Abiotic factors in temperate rain forest:
1. Temperature:The climate in the temperate rain forests is mild.
2. Water: moist and lush.
3. Light: many clouds block the sunlight.
4. Soil: nutrition rich.
Biotic factors:beavers, raccoons , cougars and black bears.

Abiotic factors in tropical rain forest:
1. Temperature: hot, near the Earth's equator
2. Water:60 to 160 inches of precipitation
