Aguinea pig has two alleles for eye color; one allele codes for dark eyes and the other for red eyes. all of this guinea pig's offspring have dark eyes. this illustrates the principle of

Dominate alleles and recessive alleles (homozygous and heterozygous combinations as well). The dark eyes is the dominate allele making it to where the offspring will have it if it's EE or Ee. The red eyes is the recessive allele making it to where the offspring will have it if its ee. Since the guinea pig's offspring all have dark eyes we can assume their genetic code is either EE or Ee.
