The cell membrane of the plant and animal cells help them to maintain homeostasis. It regulates the particles that move in or outside the cell. All cell work in integrity to maintain homeostasis. The organelles also contribute to this process. Vacuole stores food for this, cell membrane acts as a barrier for foreign materials, mitochondria provide the cell with its energy, nucleus controls all the activity, cell wall protects the cell, cytoplasm maintains the integrity of the cell, ribosomes, and endoplasmic reticulum synthesize and transport the proteins required by the cell.
