Some of the conservation efforts being applied to protect rainforests are as follows:  

1. Ecotourism is being utilized to show people the rainforest in its native state and to educate the individuals regarding how they can take part in protecting the rainforests.  

2. The rainforest rehabilitation efforts are building the forests again in some of the regions where they had been removed previously.  

3. The carbon credits originated from the notion that global carbon emissions should be stopped and the probable amount of credits would need to be purchased or acquired to counterbalance a given concentration of emissions.
