Telophase is the last phase of mitosis, in this one parent cell gets divided into two daughter cells. This phase is the reverse of early mitotic phases in which nucleus, nucleolus and nuclear envelop begin to dissolve from the parent cell in order to undergo stages which leads to formation of two daughter cells in cytokinesis. During telophase, the nuclear membrane reforms around the new nuclei in each half of the dividing cell. Nucleolus returns in each half of the cell . Spindle fibers disappear completely. Telophase ends when the dividing cell cleaves into two cells and the chromosomal material is equally transferred into two daughter cells. This is known as cytokinesis.
