Skeletal myocyte - muscle cell. Myocytes are long tubular cells that form muscles. The process of forming muscles is called myogenesis.  The sceletal myocyte is specilized form of myocyte that forms the skeletal muscle. The skeletal muscle is one of the biggest muscle type,attached to the bones.
