Why evolution should not be taught from a religious belief

Why shouldnt it everyone should be free to chose what ever religion they wish 

If you are asking for an argument for why it shouldn't be taught, it can be rude to many religions considering that many believe that God made them and that man was just made and not evolved. In all honesty, I find nothing wrong with learning about evolution, and I find it to be very wrong if they remove evolution from the standards because just because it goes against one person's religion, does not mean it goes against all of them. However, to answer your question, it might not be taught due to religious stand points and sensitivity to the topic; such as if you were teaching about slaves in American history, some people might take offense due to the way they grew up.

Genetic engineering is the answer.
