Why does antarctica receive less of the sun’s heat than panama?

Antarctica is the location of the South Pole. It is the southern-most point on Earth. Panama, on the other hand, is near the equator, which is the middle of the Earth.

There are a lot of reasons. First of all Antarctica reflects some percent of radiation back because of the ice and snow. Secondly on average Antarctica gets less sunlight yearly due to its position on the earth.
