4. A swimmer has pain on both shoulders when she brings her arms close to her body. The onset of pain is from possible over use. No pain with when she
brings her arm from her side to straight up or toward the back. There is pain
with a pull up but no pain when doing a push up. There is point pain over the
bicipital groove (intertubercular sulcus).
a) Can you rewrite the above (the parts that are underlined) using anatomical
terms?
b) What muscle(s) is/are affected?
c) What exercise/movements can he do, to help strengthen the area?
