With in-text citations. answer soon, ! paper due tomorrow.

okay so are in-text citations for direct quotes or do you need them for every sentence that has information from a source?
the way our paper is supposed to be written is that all of the information is in the paragraph and then at the end is the in-text citations. how are they supposed to be formatted? if the author's name is missing from a source should i just put the title of the article? the reason this is in biology is that this is for a science class. < 3
