air molecules moving from a high to low pressure,
air molecules not moving in any particular direction
air molecules moving from low to high pressure.

if the hares very faster than they are now, and thus the lynx's hunting success rate drops because it will be harder to catch them, the rate that will change will be the pray-rate. the pray-rate will change because more hares will be able to survive, thus more individuals for reproduction, so the end result will be increasing population of hares.

the predator-rate will remain pretty much the same because there will be more than enough pray, but the hunting success rate is stagnant.

imagine a line passing through the center of earth that goes through both the north pole and the south pole. this imaginary line is called an axis. earth spins around its axis, just as a top spins around its spindle. this spinning movement is called earth's rotation. at the same time that the earth spins on its axis, it also orbits, or revolves around the sun. this movement is called revolution.
