What happens when chromosomes undergo the crossing-over process? I point
Portions of DNA information are switched between chromosomes, creating more
variation between the sex cells that are eventually created.
The chromosomes begin to separate into two new cells.
Chromosomes double to allow the normal number of chromosomes to be passed on
to each cell.
Each of the cells created splits into two new cells, creating 4 total, during Anaphase 1.
