Explain TWO reasons why it is important to develop alternatives to fossil fuel
energy sources,

1. Fossil fuels are damaging to the environment. They create large amounts of carbon dioxide when burned thus increasing carbon emissions.
2. They are not an unlimited resource and could run out at any minute. If they run out and we don’t have an alternative, we could be in a world of hurt.
