Gene:En biología, un gen es una unidad básica de herencia y una secuencia de nucleótidos en el ADN o ARN que codifica la síntesis de un producto génico, ya sea ARN o proteína. Durante la expresión génica, el ADN se copia primero en ARN.

Genética: La genética es una rama de la biología que se ocupa del estudio de los genes, la variación genética y la herencia en los organismos.

Genoma:Un genoma es el conjunto completo de instrucciones genéticas de un organismo. Cada genoma contiene toda la información necesaria para construir ese organismo y permitirle crecer y desarrollarse. ... Las instrucciones de nuestro genoma están formadas por ADN. Dentro del ADN hay un código químico único que guía nuestro crecimiento, desarrollo y salud.
