03.03 Predicting Assessment Instructions
You are mastering the skills and tools of pre-reading—accessing alpha state, scanning, background knowledge, and predicting. Now it is time to use your pre-reading skills with the article you selected earlier in this path. If you did not choose an article earlier in this path, there are various articles to choose from in this list of articles. Select an article that interests you, because you will use the article throughout the Reader path
This assessment has three parts. Read all parts of the assessment, including the rubric, before beginning.
Part I: Write It
Write at least one paragraph of three to five sentences explaining why you chose this article for your project.
Part II: Answer It
Superscan the article and answer these questions:
