For a child to be born X0, there must have been a mistake during gamete formation in one of the parents. Suppose the egg was normal, and the mistake was during the formation of the SPERM. Consider the one germ cell that went through meiosis to make this problematic sperm. Focus only on the sex chromosomes (do not draw the other 22 pairs of chromosomes). The mistake could arise in either a) meiosis I (Anaphase I) or b) meiosis II (Anaphase II).
For both a) and b), draw the cell(s) with their sex chromosomes and the spindle as appropriate for the following:
i) The cell in Anaphase I
ii) The two cells at the end of meiosis I
iii) The two cells in Anaphase II
iv) The 4 haploid cells at the end of meiosis
In your drawing, identify the problematic sperm that would give rise to an X0 child.
