Proteins are formed when the organic Amino acids are linked together with covalent bonds. This means that proteins can be broken down into amino acids which is what the bond does when it processes proteins.

Amino acids are principally made up of Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen and Nitrogen and are classified into three groups namely: Essential amino acids , Nonessential amino acids  and Conditional amino acids.

affects the water bodies: excessive use of fertilizers causes eutrophication. the fertilizers which are used on plants affect the quality of land on which it is used, further causing erosion of soil. the fertilizers used on plants contain harmful chemical fumes which affect the environment.
