Explanation:

1. NUCLEUS: The nucleus is a central organelle present in all eukaryotic cells. It contains the genetic material, DNA, which in turn contains segments called GENES that encode or direct the synthesis of protein. Hence, the NUCLEUS contains the instructions for making proteins in eukaryotes.

2. RIBOSOMES: Ribosomes are the site of protein synthesis in every cell i.e. they are the organelles where the proteins are made. They contain certain substances such as tRNA that carry out the translation of mRNA into proteins.

3. ROUGH ENDOPLASMIC RETICULUM: The RER is part of the organelle that makes up the endomembrane system in eukaryotic cells. It is so called "ROUGH" because it has attached to its surface, ribosomes. Hence, the RER functions in protein synthesis by helping to transport the produced proteins within the cell.

4. GOLGI APPARATUS: Golgi apparatus is a membranous organelle whose function is to sort and package synthesized proteins for transport within and out of the cell via vesicles.
