What happens at the Pacific Ring of Fire?

THE PACIFIC RING OF FIRE Is an area around the pacific ocean with a lot of volcanic activity. magma is under the surface and lava is above the surface.

The Ring of Fire is home to 75% of the world's volcanoes and 90% of its earthquakes. This movement results in deep ocean trenches, volcanic eruptions, and earthquake epicenters along the boundaries where the plates meet, called fault lines.  

so in conclusion in the pacific area there is basically a lot of volcanic activity
