If a woman has a tubal ligation (an operation that closes the oviducts) to prevent pregnancy, will she still be able to ovulate normally? Explain your answer. I know that you'll continue to ovulate, but be unable to bear child. But how do I explain this. My teacher hates my explanations. Because you're uterus won't be used, but the ovaries are still totally functional?
