Ablood test shows that someone has a higher–than–normal wbc count. what does that indicate?

a lack of nutrients in the cells, resulting in a large number of wbcs being generated

a lack of oxygen in the body, resulting in a large number of wbcs being generated

an infection in the body, resulting in a large number of wbcs being generated

When a blood test has been done, and the result shows that someone has a higher than normal wbc count, this indicates an infection in the body, resulting in a large number of wbcs being generated. wbcs or the white blood cells  play an important role in our immune system because they fight the infections by attacking the bacteria, viruses and germs that enter the body. 

This is what i did 45-5=4040÷4=10so there are 10 white marbles but am not sure is just a question that am not sure
