Keeping in mind the words of Kant, in the given situation, I will not tell the murderer about the exact location of my friend. I will not remain silent also because that crazy man could kill me too. Instead of telling him the right directions, I will tell him the wrong directions and will send him to the wrong place so that he would not harm my friend and me. Though telling a lie is wrong but saving two lives will be more important to me in this situation.

As soon as the murderer leaves, I will call the police and will tell them the direction in which the murderer has gone. This will save me as well as my friend's life, and the murderer will also get punishment for his sin.
