When bacterial DNA is replicated, the newly replicating polynucleotide will ALWAYS have a (A) 3'- group and a (B) 5' - group. During bidirectional replication, only one leading strand and only one lagging strand are part of one replication (C) . Once the process is nearly complete, DNA polymerase (D) fills in gaps that have been generated by the erosion of the RNA primers.
