Scientists were investigating a pond of water found deep in a South American cave along the Yucatan Penisula. The obtained many samples which they took back to their lab. After much testing, they found that the water has an acidic pH of 3. Another much more surprising discovery was that a new species of unicellular organism was present in the samples. The organism was observed with a microscope and found to not have a bound nucleus or organelles. To which Domain would this organism be classified?
