Explanation:

The so-called neurosecretory neurons found in the hypothalamus make hormones such as antidiuretic hormone and oxytocin, and then carry them to the pituitary, where they are stored for release.

The antidiuretic hormone decreases the loss of water lost through sweating, raising blood pressure, resulting in constriction of the arterioles.

While oxytocin has its target cells in the ovaries and testicles, and its main function is during labor, leading to contraction of the muscles in the uterus and also in the production of breast milk.
