What are the advantages of a cell being so small, explain please

The main point about our cells being small is that they are all around faster and more efficient. Cells have such a small size for their own benefit. They are small in size to allow nutrients and other materials to diffuse through the cell membrane, they keep a small ratio of surface area to volume.
