I) Decomposers such as bacteria and fungi decompose dead bodies of plants and animals. If it is removed, the nutrients cycle is disturbed.

2) Plants provides food to living creatures that are present in the ecosystem. If plants is removed, the ecosystem will collapse.

3) Ecosystem also helps in the recycling of nutrients in the ecosystem. For example, decomposers provides nutrients to the plants, plants provide nutrients to herbivores and herbivores provide nutrients to carnivores and so on. If it is removed plants growth is reduced and little food is available to animals.

Habitat fragmentation is a process in which large population of organisms are divided into small groups due to human manipulation or by nature. The effects of habitat fragmentation can be reduced if human manipulation in the environment is reduced. Don't cut the forest for the building of commercial areas.
