Explanation: The foremen ovale makes it possible for blood to go from the vein to the right side of fetus heart,and then to the left side of the heart. Before a baby is born,the baby gets blood rich in oxygen from the mothers placenta,and its delivered through the umbilical cord, because the baby can not use its lungs to get blood.
