cause of the temperature difference.

(ii) Explain the significance of this temperature distribution to the survival of the

(iii) When people are exposed to an extremely cold environment, their skin may
appear pale in colour. Explain why after a period of time, their skin may turn
red again.

(iv) Suggest the change in the temperature distribution of this person if he walks
into a hot environment.
