what can you conclude about the water quality of sandy's pond over the past year? explain. (5 points)

The water quality of the pond is worst in month of June and July. And the pH of the pond is mostly acidic, but went from alkaline in month of April. A.

The pond quality assessment requires the measure of the pH of the water of pond and the number of colonies of bacteria and presence of other organisms in pond and their assessment. The report given here shows the variation of pond water pH for about 10 months and the colony count per liter for 10 months.

Here in the graphs given, we can see that the pond water quality got worst in month of June and July, because in those months, the water got the most number of faecal coliform bacteria. This is mainly because the months of June and July are the monsoon season, and the water sweeping from different areas of soil got the fecal coliform bacteria into the pond which helped in their growth and increased numbers.

In the month of March, the pH got to the highest of 7.5 which is because the March season don't generally get too much rainfall which is why the water concentration decreases and the growth of different other bacteria and plants make the water alkaline.

for  example, forests have higher evapotranspiration than other ecosystems,  such  as grasslands, because of their deeper roots and greater leaf area. thus forests have a net moistening effect on the atmosphere and become a moisture source for downwind ecosystems.
