The rh antigen is another genetically determined antigen that may occur on the surface of human red blood cells. individuals with this antigen are said to be rh-positive and those without it are rh-negative. the allele for the production of this antigen, rh, is dominant to the rh allele for nonproduction of the antigen. the locus for the rh gene assorts independently of the locus determining abo blood types. determine whether parents with the following sets of genotypes could have a child with a, rh-negative blood. in each case, explain why or why not.
