Skeletal muscle, on the other hand, is considered to be one of the major muscle kinds. It is known to be a form of striated muscle tissue that is found under the voluntary control of the somatic nervous system. Most of them are connected to the bones by the aid of bundles of collagen fibers which are called tendons. This refers to the many bundles or fascicles of cells which are connected by muscle fibers. These muscles and fibers are covered by the connective tissue layers known as fasciae. This kind of muscles undergoes the process of muscle contraction. Biceps, glutes, hamstrings, thighs, triceps, and many more make the skeletal muscles.
