Air mass that have extremely cold and dry air is been classified as Arctic air mass. Arctic air mass can be found in Greenland and Antarctica. Polar air mass is not extremely cold and is found in Canada, Pacific ocean etc.

Equatorial air mass is warm and very moist and can be found in Equatorial region. Tropical air mass is warm and not humid and can be found in Mexico. Air mass plays an important role in controlling the weather significantly.
