What claim did thorne make? what evidence supported his claim?

Dr. Thorne was the first scientist and archeologist who gave us the concept of  regional continuity.

According to Thorne, Homo sapiens or (oldest man)was the first specie of land who left the Africa and the best evidences to support his theory were the  Mungo Man and Mungo Lady who are supposed to be oldest humans, found in Australia.

The later investigations reported that the DNA sequence was Mungo Man was very different from fossils of humans or even present humans.

Further evidences that supported Thorn's claims was the skull of Mungo man that was very different from the skull (cranium part) of human
