Dna. we have heard that we are a product of our dna. but where is it? how do we "get" our dna? it is passed to us, from our parents, but in what form? several vocabulary words associated with inheritance are used interchangeably and sometimes, incorrectly. let's see if you can clear this up for someone just learning about inheritance and cell structure.

because involves two organisms (parents) whose genetic material combines, sexual reproduction leads to genetic variation in new generations of offspring. the offspring is an unique organism, with new genome, more protected with the higher ability to adapted. this process is fundamental to evolution.

the potatoes have high sugar concentrations and although these potatoes were different we could seethe effects that their sugar concentrations had in different environments. for example, the potatoes in sample a, were placed in pure water. this created a hypertonic environment and caused the potatoes to draw in water from its surroundings. we saw the opposite happen with the potatoes in sample b when placed in the sodium chloride solution. the potatoes in this case were in a hypotonic solution and therefore lost water to their surroundings.
