Hypothesis for does compost cause plants to grow faster and taller than artificial fertilizer

If I put some plants to grow in compost then they will grow faster and taller than the plants with artificial fertilizer.  

Hypothesis 1: The natural nutrients in compost will cause the tomato plants to grow at a faster rate than they grow when given artificial fertilizer.

Hypothesis 2: The artificial fertilizer is formulated specifically for tomato plants, so it will cause the plants to grow at a faster rate than they grow when given compost.

an active site is a region that is present on an enzyme where the reactants or the substrate molecules we can say bind and experience a chemical reaction. the substrate is basically a reactant whose concentration is changing and that is converting into a product after binding at the active site of an enzyme
