They used photographs from previous X-ray scientists and used microscopes. The result, they managed to find the structure of human DNA. Based on the crystal photo from Franklin, Crick and Watson solidified their theory of the structure of DNA, which states that the structure of DNA is in the form of a double-helix, or double spiral, twisting. The twisted spiral is a set of gene codes called 'Adenine / Adenine' (A), 'Thymine / Thiamine' (T), 'Guanine / Guanine' (G), and 'Cytosine / Cytosine' (C).
