Fascicle

Explanation:

The term fascicle is used for specialized cells or bundle of skeletal muscles that are surrounded by another set of connective tissue called perimysium.

Fascicle muscles can also be considered as a group of Muscle cells or fibers that are again grouped to form a complete muscle.

Importance:

They have pivotal role in movement of muscles, because if the number of fascicles will be more, it will allow better contraction and relaxation of the muscle upon movement. Therefore, it is considered that the number and size of fascicles strongly impact the strength and efficiency of a muscle.

Fascicles can arrange in different patterns to increase the muscle efficiency like parallel arrangement, in which their long axes is parallel to each other.  While in circular arrangement, they are arranged in the form of rings, concentric within one another.
