The organic foods seem to better the quality of soil and the conservation of groundwater. It also minimizes pollution and is considered better for the environment.  

It has been studied that foods grown organically are more nutritious, and many studies have shown that organic foods usually comprise greater levels of antioxidants and other micro-nutrients, like iron, zinc, and vitamin C.  

It has also been shown that the organically grown crops exhibit lower levels of nitrate, that is, about 30 percent lower than the genetically modified crops. The high levels of nitrate are associated with an enhanced threat of some kind of cancers.  

The organic food is free of any kind of artificial chemicals, that is, why they are preferred more in society. It has been shown experimentally that the higher antioxidant quantity of organic foods assists in protecting cells from damage, and the organic diets may even benefit in reproduction, growth, and better the immune system of an individual.  

Organic produce had a thirty percent lower chance of carrying pesticides than regular produce. The researchers also found that regular chicken and pork were thirty-three percent more likely than organic products to carry bacteria that were immune to three or more further antibiotics.
