Why are we not harmed or altered by ingesting the dna of another organism

Eating DNA is safe. The explaination is given below:

DNA stands for deoxyribonucleic acid. Its a very weak one more like vinegar than a dangerous acid like sulphuric acid.

Nucleic means it refers to the centre of the living cell.It is the compartment where animals, plants and fungi, the DNA is stored.

The third part of the name deoxyribo refers to ribose which is a sugar  abit like glucose but with fewer carbons. The deoxy part means the ribose is missing one oxygen atom.This makes DNA avery stable non reactive molecule  and ideal for the long term storage of genetic information.It is also a good food.

I am sure because nearly all the food we eat contains DNA and lots of it. The reason is simple.Organisms are not made up of continuous matter like plasticine,  we are made up of tiny balloon called cells.

Ancient story describe how people were fashioned from clay but actually it is more like being made of Lego blocks.Bacteria are single celled organisms, most animals and plants are multicellular. Cats are bigger than mice because they have more cells. Amazingly every cell have its own DNA and each cell in the body carries the genome.So each block is more like a smartphone than a balloon- each block have its own computer code or DNA genome.

In complex organisms each cell have the same DNA  but different genes are active in different body organs. These genes are like an apps present on our smartphones.

So whether we are vegetarian or an ominivore , we are eating DNA which in turn contains the entire genetic information. The only living parts which doesn't contain DNA  are egg whites, milk (for energy storage) & blood juices in which our blood cells float.

i think it would be b. tissue because an organ system is a group of organs that work together to perform one or more functions. each does a particular job in the body, and is made up of certain tissues.
