How do cells get the proteins they need from foods?     cells use sunlight to produce proteins from foods, carbon dioxide, and water.    cells synthesize proteins from glucose absorbed from food during digestion. cholesterol from food is bonded together through dehydration synthesis to produce protein chains.    enzymes break down food proteins into smaller molecules that can be carried by blood.
