What is the evolutionary explanation for the evolution of humankind? (2 points) humans evolved from chimpanzees. humans and modern primates share a common ancestor, with humans evolving further while the rest of the primates we know of today remained the same. human beings branched from a common ancestors along with primates, but fall into a different group called the hominids, and homo sapiens (modern man) is the only specie of this group to have survived to our time. humans and primates do not have any evolutionary relation.
