During the Baroque era, the Catholic Church required that religious art teach the Bible at an emotional level to the people of the lower classes.

Iwould say overhead, b/c front would shine in their face, and might mess up the picture, especially if taken by a so either front or overhead, but i'm leaning towards overhead
