Venus of Willendorf, also called Woman of Willendorf, Upper Paleolithic female figurine. It is only 11cm tall and created at c. 28,000 BCE – 25,000 BCE but wasn't found until 1908 by a archaeologist Johann Veran at Willendorf, Austria. The material of this sculpture is oolitic limestone. It was most likely made by the Upper Paleolithic hunter-gatherers who lived nomadic in the area.
