He attempted to demonstrate the development of the fledgling by taking out all the physical highlights. Wild Turkey: James Audubon adopted a sensible strategy of his picture of a winged creature. There is very nearly a logical reason found in the detail and strategy of his watercolor of the wild turkey. Audubon needed to demonstrate that despite the fact that the composition is of a wild turkey, a less excellent flying creature, there is still some excellence to his fine art.
