This is more a personal preference question, so honestly its a bit hard to get the answer they want, as no you may not have the same thinking pattern as the author of this question. Personally, I seem to color code my notes to emphasize things. But when I'm taking notes, and I see a important symbol or something like that I doodle it down. I also personally DESPISE discussing information with a study partner, and I work and learn much better alone.

So, saying this, I would say my personal answer would be A. Discussing the information with a study partner.  This is honestly a difficult question to answer for someone as it is a personal preference question. If my answer didn't help you at all, I'd advise you think about it in kind of the way I did. What do YOU do while taking notes? Do you use color to tell yourself if something is important? Do you like talking to somebody about the information to understand it better? Do you like to draw out what you learned? Graph it out?
